I posted about this few weeks ago, I think.
If I did I probably pointed out that this book is pretty much the guide-book to hypocrisy. So this week “my church” is starting the radical lessons.
Well, if he isn’t from this world and from heaven, isn’t that bit arrogant. I mean not all of us can get there right?? -Wink- 😛
So, apparently Jesus is uncomfortable on the face of earth
Hey Jesus I don’t like the face of Earth either, so Can i join your little club?
May be I am just being cynical right now, back to sermon. 🙂
2nd guy wants to bury his father before following Jesus.
Jesus replies by saying he shouldn’t put family before God..
Why? apparently he knows everything you need and family isn’t it.
Sure family can be annoying and sometimes get on your nerves…-achm-, but you got to love them for even tolerating all the shit you do.
3rd guy says he will follow, but wishes to say good-bye to his friends and family.
And even him Jesus says that anyone that looks back isn’t good for heaven
I do have to agree that being nostalgic isn’t good for anyone. Honestly if I was to kept looking back I wouldn’t have the strength to keep living.
Overall I can’t agree with 2/3 of these points of being christian. I think the meaning of being christian is no longer with us. Everyone is different, and trying to bind the society with one topic is impossible. Let alone trying to introduce God, whom we don’t even know if it exists or not.
I been listening to the song with one thing i my mind. I don’t give a shit what people have to say about me.
Seriously though, what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger, and sing for the deaf and everyone else even if they hate your guts. 🙂
