Freedom from Religion

Yes, this country and others need to stop this ridiculousness of trying to combine religion and government into some mash up monster. To be honest, this US government was built on the idea that government should be free from religion. It might seem such a small detail, but it shows a rather interesting correlation. Not a direct one, but rather interesting one.

Well whether you agree with that fact or not, I right now. I really don’t care. I not here to talk about freedom from religion in that kind of idea. I am talking about our future generations. The little brothers can sisters we have. Those pesky children even though fight with all the time but care about in the end(I thought I would never say this :P).

Most of you might recall this video of a toddler singing “Ain’t No Homo Gonna Make It to Heaven”. This video cause many disturbances over different communities, but does this kid know? Does he have any idea of what he is saying?

These innocent kids, who just learned 1 + 1 = 2, are not capable of determining what is moral. They are essentially emulators of their parents. If parents are allowing this to the little kid, what would they be lead to believe. Today, it might have been just a song, but tomorrow he could be brainwashed to think this is true.

There have been alarmingly increasing suicidal rate among teenagers, especially with GLBT students. If that wasn’t enough evidence for you There have been incidents among young teenagers and kids, who are led to believe that these extreme views are true and killed their class mates for “the glory of God”

These events should have been enough warning to show us that religious extremists should not be presented to little kids to prevent further damage in society.

Any kids shouldn’t be allowed into church, temple, or any religious place until they are at least 16.

Why 16?

16 is a number where most if not all, have gone through puberty, and most of them have developed a sense of morality in their own terms based on what they have experienced through out their life. This allows for students to choose whether they should follow the doctrines of the religion they are presented with.

I weep for the future of mankind. I hope we can do better than out parents. I know we are capable of doing such miracles.
